Oktoberfest and Bellini's (Sublimekindalife 10/05/04 2:46am)
I have two questions. First of all, can anyone tell me when Oktoberfest begins and ends this year? It'd be nice if it was on the site caldendar. Also, I'd like to see Bellini's added to the restaurant list. I'm currently in Gainesville, and I drive 120 miles home to DeLand just for their roast beef subs! Any DeLand lover would appreciate Bellini's... they even remember your face and name when you visit. That really contributes to that small-town feel that makes our town so great! Good idea, Why not add Bellini's? Just one more non-German food to a German festival that has nothing to do with Germany except for the name spelling !! No kraut, snitzel, dark beer, potato pancakes, brautwurst, nothing !! Just a way for the church to make money.
Better yet, how about an Italian festival? That would be nice for Bellini's, they have great food !!
