Stetson Students and Residential Neighborhoods (tarrc 10/10/05 1:00pm)
I live in a newer neighborhood with a mix of families, retirees, young adults and Stetson students. Over the last year and a half we have had vandalism, drunk driving, illegal parking, all night parties and even flare guns and bottle rockets shot off around the neighborhood.
Has anyone else been dealing with these types of issues? The city is in court with some owners of the properties, and the police are not able to arrest anyone due to various reasons.
Other than calling the police every night or writing to the Stetson President, Mayor and Chief of Police what other options do we have?
I am a college graduate and understand their need for fun, but in a residential neighborhood with children some activities should be removed and some should be prosecuted. (tarrc 10/10/05 1:00pm) REPLY
