About David Candler Hicks, Attorney-at-law, Keynote Presenter
David Candler Hicks has been a member of the Florida Bar Association since 1993. He is a third generation Floridian and grew up in Pinellas County where he has been in private practice since 1998. Mr. Hicks earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Communications from the University of Florida and a Juris Doctor from Loyola University’s College of Law. Upon graduation, David worked for the Hillsborough County Public Defender’s Office as a staff attorney before serving as Counsel for several litigation firms. Having gained extensive experience in public and private sectors, Mr. Hicks opened the Alliance Legal Group focused upon defending homeowner’s rights.
